Soapstone bed warmer

The soapstone bed warmer is a part of Valmalenco's tradition: during winter, it would be placed on the stove, in the oven, or near the fireplace to be warmed up. Then, it was brought into unheated rooms to radiate warmth throughout the night.

The bed warmer serves as an excellent heat source. We suggest heating it on the stove, in the oven, or over a gas flame, wrapping it in a cloth, and placing it in the bed before bedtime, ensuring your bed is warm and cozy when you lie down. Thanks to soapstone's heat-retention properties, the bed warmer will remain warm throughout the night.
